Jeff Kramer
Syracuse, New York
Kramer wrote an award-winning humor column for a Syracuse, N.Y. daily until April 2011. He also has written humor for The Orange County Register in Southern California and The Middlesex News in Framingham, Mass. He was shot during the Los Angeles Riots in 1992 while on assignment for The Boston Globe. It hurt, but not nearly as much as being stung by a Portuguese Man of War in Jamaica in 2010. Kramer has written two full-length stage plays, both comedies. A screenplay version of the first, Lowdown Lies, has been optioned to CVT Productions. The World Premiere of the second, Reaching for Marsby, opens March 2012 in Syracuse. A native of Seattle, Wash., Kramer and his wife, Leigh Neumann, have two daughters, Miranda and Lily, and three dogs, Larry, Rondo and Gigi.
